The 2019 WIAA Division 3 State Girls Track and Field Championships didn’t go quite as planned for Clear Lake. Competing in two events, the Warriors were unable to record any team points.

Abby Keller, Molly Peterson, Lizzie Rosen and Brooklyn Tolzman finished in 16th place in the 4x100-meter relay, finishing in a time of 53.46 seconds. Winning the event was Three Lakes/Phelps, which stopped the clock at 50.52 seconds.

Senior Jazzy Christiansen also had a rough trip fouling on all three attempts in the discus throw. Marathon senior Leah Zemke won the state title with a toss of 122-02.

La Crosse Aquinas won the team title with 36 points, edging out Edgar, which had 33 points.
