Hello! I was able to take most of last week off to putter around the house and take care of some tasks that have gone undone for too long. The weather was great and I had a great time. I may even do it again.
John Denver once said, “Thank God I’m a country boy.” As much as I think it is a pretty catchy tune, I am not much of a country girl. I will say that it recently dawned on me though, how very thankful I am to live in what many people call “God’s Country.”
I WAS AT my desk in the Press office on Friday, July 3, when most of the staff had the day off. A knock at the door caught my attention so I answered it to discover it was Cal Rolstad.
Even though we are in the middle of summer, a time when school should be at the farthest point away from our minds, there’s been a great deal of talk about what the school year will look like in the fall.
COVID-19 has certainly taken its toll on the world. Jobs have changed, the reality of what public education will look like can seem scary no matter how it shakes out and everything and I mean EVERYTHING has turned into a debate.
