The Second Annual Genius Hour Community Expo provided students the opportunity to showcase their Project Based Learning presentations to the public. “We gave the kids an hour a week to do a research project about anything they were passionate about and just got out of their way. We led them through guiding activities but we let them choose what they were going to research and how they were going to present it. We gave them voice in choice,” said Middle School Principal Tom Bensen.

The event was a success with approximately 300 people attending and interacting with the students who were excited to show off their hard work.
